Under the Commission services' update of the forecast for nominal GDP growth, the primary general government balance is projected to attain a deficit of EUR 7631 million (4,4 % of GDP) in 2015, a deficit of EUR 6166 million (3,6 % of GDP) in 2016, a deficit of EUR 4089 million (2,3 % of GDP) in 2017 and a deficit of EUR 753 million (0,4 % of GDP) in 2018.
